CarTiles has no tracking, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no Tapronix-operated server storing your tile data. Everything you create lives on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don't collect, sell, or share your information.
Use the App without signing up. We don't ask for an email address or build a profile on you.

AI generation and photo cutouts use third-party services. Photos sent are processed in-flight, not retained by us.
CarTiles does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data for marketing or analytics purposes. All tiles, photos, text, and customizations you create are stored in one of two places:
Tapronix LLC does not operate a backend server that holds your tile data, and we have no access to the information you enter into the App.
If iCloud Sync is enabled on your device, your CarTiles data is stored in your personal iCloud container under your Apple ID. We do not access, collect, or transmit this data. Apple is responsible for the security and privacy of your iCloud account. You can disable iCloud Sync at any time from your device's iCloud settings.
CarTiles includes optional AI features that send only photos to third-party AI services for processing. These features are opt-in — data is only sent when you explicitly choose to use them.
When you use the AI car generation feature, the App sends a short text description (year, make, model, and color you typed) to Google Gemini, which returns a generated car image. Your tile data, photos, and personal information are not sent — only the text description you typed.
When you use the photo cutout feature (either on a photo you upload, or on the result of an AI generation), the App sends the photo only to fal.ai, which returns the same photo with its background removed. Your tile data and other photos are not sent — only the single image you are cutting out.
The AI services do not receive your name, email, device identifier, location, or any other personally identifying information. Photos sent for cutout processing are not labeled with your identity. We do not retain copies of photos or generated images on our own infrastructure — they are passed through and the result is returned to your device.

Please do not include sensitive personal content in photos you upload for AI processing (such as photos containing government IDs, financial documents, or photos of children). The AI features are intended for car photos only.
CarTiles Pro is a subscription managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not see, store, or process your payment information. Apple handles all payment processing, subscription renewal, and cancellation. The only information we receive about your subscription is whether your Apple ID currently has an active CarTiles Pro entitlement — we do not see your name, email, or billing information.

CarTiles widgets render entirely on your device using data you have already created. Widget content is not transmitted, logged, or shared. CarPlay widgets behave identically — they read your local tile data through Apple's App Group container and render on the CarPlay surface without sending anything to our servers.
CarTiles does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or telemetry services. We do not build advertising profiles, share data with data brokers, or sell information about you in any form. The App does not contain Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to track.
CarTiles is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.

You are responsible for the content you create in CarTiles, including the photos you upload for cutouts and the descriptions you submit for AI generation. Do not upload photos you do not have the right to use, and do not generate or display content that violates the rights of third parties (such as trademarked logos used in a way that misleads as to source or sponsorship). You are also responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. We cannot retrieve lost data, recover content after iCloud Sync is disabled and the App is uninstalled, or undo deletions that occur outside the App.
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the App or to applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of the App where reasonable, and your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
